Not far from Prana is Chaweng Beach, where it is recommended that you try out the sunbathing and swimming. The gentle sound of the waves will help you drown your worries away. Whenever you start feeling peckish (we’re hungry 24/7 around here), walk along the Chaweng daily night market near Central Festival to source for some of the best Thai food restaurants to tame your appetite.
To really see Thailand the way the locals do, be sure to visit the Buddhist temples like Wat Plai Laem (to visit the statue of goddess Guanyin), Wat Kunaram (mummified monk temple) and Wat Phra Yai, where the Big Buddha statue lies. Freishia recommends ending the evening with another stroll at the Lamai Night market, where street food lovers unite.

Head to Na Muang Waterfall 2 for an adventure at the safari, then go jungle trekking until you can settle down for a nice picnic at the 80-meter high waterfall. Another option is to snorkel at Koh Tao To, accessible by a 30-minute speedboat ride that lets you marvel at the 50 shades of blue around you.
When it comes to dining in Thailand, you just have to get a taste of everything – which is why Koongkata is worth vising, a buffet experience that will leave you satisfied. It’s fun to just cook your own meal just the way you like it. Then there’s Coco Tam’s, one of the island’s hottest eateries with a fire show and exquisite cocktails. How exotic!
But wait, a true beach holiday is not complete without fresh seafood. End your trip at the Krua Bophut Restaurant – a fine dining establishment that specialises in exquisite Thai style seafood. The restaurant also comes with a gorgeous interior and a spectacular sea view, perfect for a special night out with your loved ones.
Since Krua Bophut restaurant is located at Bophut Village, you have to stop by the popular fisherman’s village night market to do some shopping. It opens only on Friday nights, but when you do make it, be sure to go all out! Just make sure you bring a recyclable shopping bag with you too.
